Job Title: Technical Savvy Volunteer Personal Assistant

Location: Remote/Innovative Technology Strategies Office (Texas, Alabama, and Georgia)

Description: Innovative Technology Strategies is seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy volunteer to serve as a Personal Assistant. This role involves providing technical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, understand the mission and vision of our organization, and have knowledge of or experience in all aspect of grant writing including but not limited to LOI, Budget, Work-Plan, and Proposal.

Impact of the Role: As a Technical Savvy Volunteer Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of our mission to revolutionize fatherhood through technology and research. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness and reach of our programs, helping to empower fathers and strengthen families.

01Qualifications

  • Technical proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office, OneDrive, SharePoint, Social Media Tools, and other digital tools.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Understanding of or knowledge in grant writing and fundraising processes.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with the mission and vision of Innovative Technology Strategies.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

03Training Opportunities

  • Orientation on the mission, vision, and programs of Innovative Technology Strategies.

  • Training on specific software and digital tools used by the organization.

  • Grant writing workshops and resources to enhance your skills.

  • Ongoing support and mentorship from experienced staff and volunteers.

02Time Commitment

  • Minimum of 10 hours per week.

  • Flexibility to attend virtual meetings and events as needed.

  • Commitment of at least 6 months is preferred.

04Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including scheduling, correspondence, and document management.

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals and reports.

  • Manage and organize digital files and resources on OneDrive and SharePoint.

  • Support the planning and execution of virtual meetings and events.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of programs and initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization’s mission.
